Since 1897 our winery has been located on the top of Cannubi and all surrounded by our vineyards. Our roots date back even further when, in the mid-nineteenth century, the Cavalier Francesco Borgogno began producing his own wine, selling it in the small tavern of his wife in Barolo. The winery is now run by his daughters Anna and Paola Borgogno. Promotion, administration, sales, logistics and hospitality are entirely managed by them, with the invaluable help of Federica Boffa, part of the fifth generation of the family. Marco Bolla and his daughter Emanuela, Serio Borgogno’s grandson, passionately work in their vineyards and in their cellar, personally leading every step of the wine making process: from pruning to harvest, from pressing to bottling. The company team is complemented by the help of Luca Sarotto, who work with Marco and Emanuela in the vineyards and in the winery. We are a team where its older and more experienced members confront with the new generations in order to protect the unbreakable bonds with the ancient roots but at the same time having the new generations on board allows us to look for new challenges and perspectives.
